IRON CHEF BBQ CHALLENGE
The time has come to once again answer life’s most savoury question: whose BBQ cuisine reigns supreme?! The Iron Chef BBQ Challenge combines authentic “Southern Charcoal BBQ” with the Iron Chef television show as a new way for groups to challenge their culinary skills and work together as a team. This unique team event is intended to recreate such themes as creative thinking, communication and team interaction, all while learning skills they can use when hosting their own future BBQ.
Iron Chef BBQ Challenge takes place outdoors using charcoal Weber barbeques; if you are concerned about the weather please ask us about tenting or covered area options.
THE TASTE RACE
In this exciting culinary adventure, teams compete in a race against the clock to collect all the stamps required to fill in their culinary passport. Earn stamps by engaging in a variety of food-related cerebral, creative, and interactive challenges, each worth a varying level of points. Sushi rolling, pizza tossing, taste tests, cake decorating, and restaurant trivia all add up to a great time for your team.
The Taste Race is designed to take place in an urban environment; however, it can also be run at other locations on a custom basis.
CAKE BOSS
Cake Boss is a reality television show featuring the owner of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. Their cake creations are incredible pieces of art and custom made to a variety of themes. Our version of this indoor event will provide your teams with the skills and supplies necessary to create amazing cakes in a friendly yet competitive environment. Recreate your company logo, a key product within your business, or anything else the Cake Boss wants. Then, after design and decorating work is done, we'll judge your creations to determine who the real Cake Boss is.
Cake Boss can be done in any indoor venue suitable for your group size.
DINING IN THE DARK
During this pitch black (and we mean black… no lights of any kind are allowed in the dining area) culinary adventure you’ll discover a feast for your senses. With your dominant sense on hold, your remaining senses will heighten as you move through each course, allowing you to experience tastes and sounds like never before. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with each other and share what they are experiencing as they try something that is truly unique.
Dining in the Dark is available at most hotels or restaurant venues, subject to suitability.
THE CHOPPING BLOCK
In this culinary team building event, participants will come together under the watchful eye of a professional chef to learn the essential skills and techniques for success in the kitchen. These skills will be put to the test when each team is given a basket of mystery ingredients and asked to prepare and present a cocktail reception for their fellow competitors. The teams that fail to impress the chef will be subject to the chopping block while the winning team will be presented with the highly coveted La Toque d'Or.
This exciting program can be done in any venue and location, subject to suitability.
GALLOPING GOURMETS
This is a high paced, fun and competitive culinary event where Culinary Teams will compete side by side creating out of this world dishes with the objective of winning over the judge's taste buds. You'll have a limited time at each of the cooking stations to create your meal extraordinaire. The event will be under the watchful eye of a professional chef who will give all the best tips on making your best efforts successful and fun, keeping in mind if you burn you learn! In culinary team building, victory is sweet!
Galloping Gourmets requires an indoor professional kitchen and is therefore venue specific and based on availability of our venue-partners.
COCKTAILS WITH FLAIR! BARTENDING EXTRAVAGANZA
Be inspired by our professional flair bartender, then create an original and innovative cocktail creation in teams. It's not time to sample yet though. Each team has to choreograph its own flair routine and perform it in front of the everyone else! This event works very well during a reception, after dinner, or as an added entertainment element for any corporate gathering.
We come to you and produce this event at any venue or location, subject to suitability.
Optional Organizational Development Training
